Amy herself just got married in July! Amy and McKenzie went to school together and have known each other for about 14 years. They met in 7th or 8th grade. It is really unknown how they officially met, but started hanging out with the same group of friends in middle school. They were on the tennis team together beginning in middle school through high school and have stayed close ever since.

Chelsee is a good friend of McKenzie. They first met at Biolife. McKenzie watched Chelsee's daughter, Jordan, while Chelsee donated plasma. We didn't really get to know each other until Mike and McKenzie were seated next to her at the New Year's Eve celebration at the Longbranch in 2011. We hit it off and have been good friends ever since. Chelsee has 3 beautiful children and is expecting another!

Chelsea and McKenzie are cousins. They grew up together, enjoying their time together in the summers in Manchester, Iowa, along with all the other cousins. Some of their fondest memories include going to the Deleware County Fair, swimming in the crick, and camping out in their grandparents' yard.

Stacie is Mike's sister and McKenzie's soon-to-be sister-in-law. McKenzie can't wait for this title to be official because that means her cutie-pie daughters, Ainslie and Piper, will become McKenzie's nieces! Mike and McKenzie feel priveledged to have their siblings part of their wedding day.

Brielle holds a special place in McKenzie's heart, as she is her first (and currently, only) niece. McKenzie used to spend her summers in high-school living at Brielle's house to babysit her and her brothers, Nick and Casey. They all had a lot of fun together and it allowed time that not all aunts get with their nieces and nephews.

Sam, Meleah, Alex and McKenzie have known each other since middle school, so for about 15 years. They were all in extra-curricular activities together and hung out whenever possible. As busy as our lives have become, we still try to get together once every couple months. No matter how much time has passed or how many miles are between these girls, we always seem to pick up where we left off!

Ainslie and Piper are McKenzie's soon-to-be nieces and the flower girls of the wedding. Ainslie is eight years old and Piper is three. Mike and McKenzie do not get to see the girls much, as they live near Chicago, so having them visit is always fast and fun! The girls are very excited to wear their dresses for the big day!

Mike met Craig in school at University of North Dakota. Craig was Resident Advisor on another floor in Mike's dorm and he showed Mike to his dorm. From then on, they became friends and Craig was much help to Mike with his academics! Craig and his wife, Caron, have a one-year-old daughter, Clara.

Mike also met Jim at UND through mutual friends and Jim was one of Mike's flight instructors. Jim is a copilot for NetJets and is privileged to travel all over the country. Even though Jim and his wife, Audrey, live in Minnesota, he and Mike keep in touch frequently.

Mike knows Joe from working at CRANDIC. Joe himselft recently married Allie in May and they live here in Cedar Rapids. Mike and McKenzie try to get together with them as much as both couples' busy schedules allow!

Zach is McKenzie's younger brother. He works for Kelly Concrete. We are looking forward to Zach gaining a brother-in-law!
